As of November 24, 2010, Yuchai Electric Co., Ltd. sold more than 500,000 engines in 2010, an increase of 14% year-on-year. In the passenger car segment, Yuchai's sales in the first 10 months of 2010 exceeded the full year of 2009. Currently, sales volume has exceeded 98,000 units, which is expected to exceed the annual sales volume of 100,000 units. The inventory of this sector has a lot of highlights: Yuchai State 4 engine performed well in the market, with annual sales exceeding 4,000 units; Yuchai State 5 engines became the first choice for China's first batch of national 5 passenger car power tenders; hybrid power in Chongqing, Tianjin , Suzhou and other places have been widely recognized by users; gas power has a good grasp of the needs of the coastal areas, the western region has achieved sales breakthroughs, its six-cylinder machine market share ranked first in the industry.

In the shipboard sector, Yuchai’s market development work has achieved outstanding results. With the overall decline in the ship power market, it achieved sales breakthroughs and was promoted to the top echelon of the market. Its position and visibility in the shipping industry have been greatly improved. The main highlights of this section include: Specialized operations are more familiar, 6T has become the main model of the ship power market, 6M sales have achieved substantial growth; large customers have significant development effect, and a group of users with continuous growth have been developed.
