Rapid implementation of multi-index rapid detection equipment for toxic pollutants in water

On January 5, 2013, the start-up meeting of the National Special Scientific Instruments (Beijing) Co., Ltd. led by the National Key Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development Special Project “Multi-indicators of Rapid Detection of Poisonous Pollutants in Water” was successfully held at Tsinghua University.

The opening ceremony was chaired by the project manager Wan Zhonghua, the Deputy Director of Scientific Research Condition and Finance Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vice President of Kang Kejun of Tsinghua University, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education, and Director of Beijing Science and Technology Commission. At the first plenary session of the subsequent project, the technical leader of the project and the first technical supporter of the project, Prof. Shi Hanchang from Tsinghua University, made a technical report on the project. The participating experts put forward specific requirements and recommendations on the implementation of the project and implemented the project. It has very important significance. The parties to the project implementation have actively implemented it.

The convening of the conference indicates that the total investment exceeds 100 million yuan, and the national project for the development of major scientific instruments and equipment with a financial support of 47 million yuan was officially launched and implemented. High-throughput, high-sensitivity multi-index rapid synchronization detection instrument system for toxic contaminants in water and the formation of portable, laboratory benchtop and on-line products. The instrument will become a new generation of environmental monitoring instruments with the capability of simultaneous rapid detection of multiple types of pollutants in the world, and will promote the leap-forward development of environmental monitoring instruments in China.
