The 3rd session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference satisfactorily completed various agendas and closed in the Great Hall of the People on the afternoon of March 13. The chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng presided over the closing ceremony.
Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Zhang Dejiang, Liu Yunshan, Wang Qishan, Zhang Gaoli and others took a seat on the rostrum.
At 3 pm on March 13, the closing session began. Yu Zhengsheng announced that the 3rd session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference should attend 2,227 members, actually reaching 2,114, and meet the required number.
The meeting adopted the resolution of the Third Session of the Twelfth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on the work report of the Standing Committee, the report of the proposal of the Twelfth National Committee of the CPPCC on the review of the proposal of the Third Session of the Twelfth CPPCC, and the Twelfth National Conference of the CPPCC Third session of the committee political resolution.
In his speech, Yu Zhengsheng pointed out that the Chinese Communist Party is leading our country and people in the historical journey of realizing the Chinese nation’s great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream. We must recognize our mission and be brave enough to play it. We must unwaveringly uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, widely agglomerate reform consensus, develop consensus, consensus on the rule of law, consensus on anti-corruption and consensus on values, and maintain and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, build a well-off society in an all-round way, and comprehensively deepen reform and comprehensiveness. Managing the country according to law and fully governing the party in a strict manner have a strong positive effect. We must always uphold the concept of the people and the feelings of the people, stay away from bureaucracy and floridism, and humbly accept supervision from the masses; observe model laws, CPPCC constitution, and institutional norms in a more exemplary manner; and more effectively use the power and influence of the CPPCC to truly make it work. To be true, the strategy must be real, and the line must be correct. It is to be the honorable title of the members of the CPPCC National Committee for the benefit of the country, the benefit of the people, the good of the people.
