On November 17, 2010, the Honeywell Automotive Key Materials Project of the world's top 500 enterprises was started in the Yuzui Industrial Park in Liangjiang New District. After the project is completed within one year, it will achieve an annual sales value of 1 billion yuan. The ambitious goal of building a car city in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area is moving forward.
The Honeywell Automotive Key Materials Project is the seventh major industrial industry project that has been started since the establishment of the Liangjiang New District, and it is also the first Fortune 500 company to start construction after the establishment of the Liangjiang New District. At present, more than 50 Fortune 500 companies have settled in Liangjiang New Area, attracting 216 investment projects including Hankook Tire, Fiat Power, Acer Computer, etc. The contracted investment is expected to reach 366.5 billion yuan.

Common types include azo pigments, lake pigments, phthalocyanine pigments and quinacridone pigments. They are all artificially synthetic organic compounds. The intermediate, synthesis process and equipment required by such kind of pigments are generally the same as that required by organic dyes, therefore usually manufactured in the dye industry. However, as pigments, they are, after all, different from the organic dyes.
