Working fire in Chicago, 11-16-17

On November 16, 2017, Engine 7 responded to an attic fire at a residence on Barry and Long. The fire was intense, and the crews attempting to enter the attic were forced back due to the rapid spread of flames. As a result, they had to go defensive for several minutes while they regrouped. A total of four fire lines were deployed during the incident. The responding units included Engine 7, Engine 68, Truck 58, Tower Ladder 23, Squad 2, Battalion Chief 7, Battalion Chief 8, and the RIT unit T38, along with the 2-7-2 command.
