The sea shield ballast water system supporting teaching ship has passed the factory inspection
    Recently, Weihai Zhongyuan Shipbuilding Technology Co., Ltd.'s Haidun ballast water treatment system passed the factory inspection organized by Dalian COSCO Shipyard Engineering Co., Ltd. and Dalian Maritime University. The system will soon be equipped on the 30,000- ton teaching practice ship of Dalian Haida . The practice ship was built by Dalian COSCO Shipyard and is a multi-purpose heavy-lifting ship. It is the second-generation cargo teaching practice ship designed by China.
    Up to now, Haidun Ballast Water Treatment System has been approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping, China Classification Society, French Classification Society, Japan Classification Society and the US Coast Guard ( USCG ) as an alternative to ballast water treatment. System ( AMS ) certificate. It is reported that the system has been selected on the 300,000- ton super large oil tanker ( VLCC ). The 300,000 tons of VLCC ballast water has a large processing capacity and a fast processing speed, and has high requirements for equipment safety and anti-sanding.
    The fifth generation Haidun ballast water treatment system currently produced by Weihai Zhongyuan Shipbuilding Technology Co., Ltd. holds the national-level product explosion-proof certificate and has strong safety; it has automatic frequency conversion function to reduce power consumption; it adopts special filter and research independently developed by itself. The flushing technology is suitable for all kinds of dirty sewage areas; the ballast pump has a large flow rate of up to 6000 cubic meters per hour ; the equipment technology has reached the international leading level and can meet the installation requirements of large oil tankers and other ships.
