Former Deerfield-Bannockburn FPD Snorkel for sale

Ex-Deerfield-Brannockburn Crown Firecoach Snorkel for sale in Virginia.

This 1967 Crown Snorkel F-1535 has a rich history. It was originally owned by Deerfield-Brannockburn, then sold to Black River Falls, WI in 1984. Later, it moved to Chilhowie, VA in 1997 and also served Glade Spring, VA. Now it's back in Chilhowie, owned by Brent Foster.

This is a rare piece of fire apparatus history. The unit features an 85-foot boom, powered by an 8V71 Detroit engine, paired with a 5-speed transmission. The paint is in excellent condition, and the tires are still in great shape. If you're interested, feel free to reach out. Asking price is $12,500.

Includes two photos: one of the Snorkel in service in Glade Springs, VA, and another showing it during its time in Deerfield. Both photos are from unknown sources, but they give a glimpse into the truck's storied past.
