Here are a few more photos. We grew up in the neighborhood, and these images bring back great memories. This photo shows me at just six months old in 1970, sitting on the hook and ladder—such a classic moment! There's also a newspaper clipping showing a smashed fire truck, which was the one my grandfather was thrown off of after being hit while responding to an emergency call. I believe it was a Seagrave.
