According to a reporter from Liaoning Daily News, Han Keming recently reported that the Provincial Soil and Fertilizer Station organized 18 leading chemical fertilizer manufacturers and 53 fertilizer distribution companies across the province to meet in Anshan City. The companies made a public commitment to farmers in the province, pledging to provide honest and reliable fertilizer services. They vowed not to sell counterfeit or substandard products, avoid false advertising, and refrain from misleading consumers. All fertilizer products would be genuine, accurately labeled, and priced fairly, without any price manipulation or unethical practices.
The participating production and management companies emphasized that they would take concrete actions to ensure that farmers have access to high-quality fertilizers during the spring planting season. This initiative aims to reduce farmers' input costs and protect their interests. In addition to the 34 companies that had already committed during the previous Hulundao Spring Planting Fertilizer Production and Marketing Matchmaking Conference, another 34 local manufacturers also pledged their support. Together, they introduced 69 premium fertilizer varieties for farmers to choose from, ensuring better options and greater transparency in the market.
This collective effort reflects a growing awareness among industry players to uphold ethical standards and build trust with agricultural communities.
