New energy clean vehicles will gradually become the main force

At present, the T and J electric vehicles and the K9 electric bus are still using lithium iron phosphate battery components. It may not be impossible to replace the lithium manganese phosphate battery with higher density and smaller size when necessary.

Now, BYD (providing at least two different sizes of electric vehicles) and Hualin special vehicles (providing miniature, heavy-duty clean sanitation solutions) will jointly develop a sanitation vehicle for the Beijing market. This may indicate that BYD's electric vehicle meets the hard power of heavy-duty clean sanitation vehicles with 4+4 hours of continuous work per day, cruising range of over 160 kilometers, and a single charge cycle of no more than 2.5 hours. The J series electric vehicles provided by BYD for Hualin special loading vehicles can provide motor drive between shafts and wheel-side motor drive, with different cost power solutions. Of course, the battery capacity can also be appropriately increased or decreased. In the implementation of road cleaning tasks, the speed does not exceed 40 km/h, and the maximum cruising range can exceed 200 km (equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery).

After BYD provided J series electric vehicles and Hualin special vehicles to manufacture sanitation vehicles, BYD will also independently manufacture a miniature electric barreled garbage truck. With a cruising range of 200 kilometers, charging for 1.5 hours, moderate volume, and a single function, it will also be the first independent, system-wide autonomous development of BYD's sanitation cleaning vehicles.

The author has something to say: To reorganize the Beijing Sanitation Group's equipment replacement information from 2014 to 2015, in 2016, there were more than 120 heavy-duty sanitation cleaning vehicles that need to be reloaded, and more than 150 new mini-sanitation cleaners. Others, such as spraying, cleaning and other electric sanitation vehicles, the number of reloading is hovering in more than 60-80 units. In line with the principle of prioritizing the use of new energy sanitation vehicles in the key regions and the second most important area of ​​radiation, the Beijing Sanitation Group will use clean vehicles powered by new energy sources to gradually replace the fuel-powered vehicles. It has a unique hardware advantage to build large-scale fast and slow charging piles in fixed parking lots; the routes and miles traveled by clean vehicles in all regions have clear requirements; The daily working hours do not exceed 9 hours (1 hour interval), but the maximum mileage of this trip is not more than 50 kilometers. The application of electric vehicles is not like the electric taxi is facing the dual pressure of charging and battery life. Instead, in the general environment of obtaining state financial subsidies, the mode of daytime operation and night-time charging (cheap electricity price is cheaper) will save the sanitation group a large amount of fuel expenses.

Interestingly, Hualint has been working with Beijing Institute of Technology and Beiqi Foton to develop electric sanitation vehicles since 2010. Beiqi Foton provides traditional vehicle equipment, Beijing Institute of Technology is responsible for the integration of “oil to electricity”, and Hualin Special Vehicle for the special sanitation suite. Until 2014, Hualin special vehicles still use electric vehicles provided by Beiqi Foton to produce sanitation vehicles. Now, Hualin special vehicles began to cooperate with BYD. Perhaps this means that BYD is relying on its own strength in new energy vehicle technology to shake up the general environmental protection market in Beijing.

In the current BYD e5, e6 electric rental failed to enter the Beijing market, the electric sanitation car took the lead in seizing the Beijing market. This kind of curve-saving behavior is more practical.
