Recently, the core equipment cracking gas compressor of the 600,000-ton ethylene renovation and expansion project of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company passed a 13-hour trial run, and all performance tests met the technical requirements and achieved a successful test run.
The normal operation of the cracking gas compressor is the precondition for Lanzhou Petrochemical's annual 600,000-ton ethylene renovation and expansion project to start the stage of purge, replacement and drying. The construction units have overcome the unfavorable factors such as tight schedules and delayed delivery of equipment. It took more than four months to complete the construction of equipment, public works and electrical instrumentation systems. During the trial run, the ethylene engineering headquarters of Lanzhou Petrochemical worked closely with the PC contractor and construction company to solve the problems that the position of the front and rear condensers found during turbine test run was too low, and the low alarm level in the high level oil tank was inaccurate. Relevant manholes, blind plates, and short tubes are installed and disassembled to create conditions for the trial operation of cracked gas compressors.
