According to the guidelines for the development of China's machinery industry in the 15th Plan of the State, the 15th Plan for the Automotive Industry and the Automobile Industry Development Policy, the relevant spirit for the development of the auto parts industry is to encourage the adjustment and upgrade of the automobile industry and encourage the automotive industry to zero. The component companies are “bigger and strongerâ€. The China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association and the China Automotive Engineering Society jointly developed the “Comprehensive Competitiveness Evaluation System for Chinese Auto Parts Enterprises. The Association and the Society believes that only a comprehensive and development point of view should be used to examine zero. The competitiveness of component companies can help enterprises fully grasp the initiative of future competition and promote the practice of modern enterprise management in auto parts enterprises.
The establishment of the evaluation system draws on the latest achievements in research on the competitiveness of Chinese and foreign companies, including the World Economic Forum, the International Institute of Management in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Standard & Poor's, the Ministry of Finance of China, and the evaluation standards of the School of Statistics of the Renmin University of China, combined with authoritative expert opinions of the industry. . It is the first comprehensive evaluation system for the competitiveness of Chinese auto parts companies. Comprehensive competitiveness is defined as a group of competitive advantages that the company has formed and integrated with its inherent qualities over a long period of time. The synergy of these competitive advantages enables enterprises to achieve comprehensive capabilities for sustained survival and development in competition. According to the design requirements of the evaluation system, it will be used to analyze auto parts production enterprises that have annual sales of over 300 million yuan and are registered in China and have various ownership systems. The time span it examined was the level of continuous comprehensive competitiveness in the past two years. With the accumulation of data over the years, the evaluation system will have a certain ability to forecast the development of industries and enterprises. The purpose of the evaluation is to provide an independent analysis method for the development strategy of parts and components companies, and to provide reference for the decision-making of auto parts entrepreneurs. The role of the evaluation is to encourage Chinese auto parts entrepreneurs to increase their overall competitiveness and reflect the industry trends of concentration, integration and specialization, which will increase the overall competitiveness of the auto parts industry.
The evaluation system uses a comprehensive index method for comprehensive evaluation. First, a number of mid-level indices were calculated based on more than 30 primary business indicators of the company; then, a composite index was calculated based on the weighting coefficient given by the evaluation system; and finally, the list of companies selected as Top 100 in the year was confirmed by the expert committee's review. . The index is calculated using the mean standardization method. The average value of the index is 0. A value greater than 0 indicates an above-average level, and a value less than 0 indicates a below-average level. The greater the absolute value of the index, the more distant it is from the average.
The promotion effect embodied in the evaluation structure can be measured according to the average level of improvement of various indicators in the industry. The superiority of competition can be expressed in terms of the degree and direction of change in the comprehensive level of competitiveness. The role of the inferior in the competition can be measured by the proportion of the total number of companies listed below. This evaluation system provides an objective basis for the development goals of auto parts companies that are “not only to be big, but to be strongerâ€, but also to unify the recognition standard of “where is the big and where is strongâ€.
China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association is responsible for organizing and evaluating all aspects and establishing a permanent organization to ensure the consistent implementation of the evaluation system. The evaluation process will be implemented under the supervision of the selection expert committee. From 2005, the evaluation results are planned to be released every autumn.
The implementation steps of the evaluation include data summary verification, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of various indicators, expert assessment, and also the process of annual upgrade of the evaluation system. The enterprise competitiveness evaluation system is transparent, follows the principles of practicability and comparability, and the assessment process is consistent with the assessment results. Due to the diversity of corporate competitiveness research methods, companies may have different evaluation performance through different statistical methods and evaluation models. The research of this topic has not accepted the commission or sponsorship of any company. Associations and societies will not be held liable for legal disputes caused by distorted evaluation results without the consent of associations and societies.
There are 24 expert committees for the evaluation system of the competitiveness of Chinese auto parts enterprises. The director is chaired by Zhang Xiaokai, Chairman of the China Association of Automotive Engineers, and Honorary Chairman Sun Zumei of the China National Association of Machinery Industry Enterprises Management. The deputy directors and members came from the following agency leaders and experts, including China National Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association, China Automotive Engineering Society, Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings Co., Ltd., China Auto Parts Association, China Automobile Certification Center, China Automotive News, National Development and Reform Commission, China International Trade Promotion Committee Automobile Branch, Tsinghua University Automotive Engineering Development Research Institute, China Automotive Industry Development Consulting Company, China Automotive Technology Research Center, China Automotive Industry Association Parts Business Unit, and China Automotive Industry Advisory Committee. The members of the research group came from BNI World Business News Co., Ltd., School of Statistics of Renmin University of China and Accenture (China).
The background and limitations of the 2004 Top 100 were as follows. First of all, the evaluation targets are key auto parts companies engaged in production and independent accounting in China. In 2004, the participating companies were mainly domestic companies and joint ventures. In 2003, the sales revenue was over 300 million yuan. The stage of the evaluation is the cumulative results of the first two years of the evaluation results. Taking the issuance of this annual meeting (the first annual meeting of Chinese auto parts entrepreneurs) as an example, as of May 10, 2004, the research team has obtained 474 relatively complete corporate data. Companies that submitted to the National Bureau of Statistics monthly reports for two consecutive years (2002-2003), although some also have considerable competitive strength, could not be included in the list of evaluation results announced in 2004, that is, companies that were omitted during the evaluation. In addition, according to the regulations of the relevant statistical department, the specific operating data of the participating companies will not be announced in 2004.
