According to the Xinhua News Agency, February 21, 2014, the Ministry of Education notice required that all localities should purchase school bus products in accordance with the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement†in order to ensure the safety of school buses from the source.
The inter-ministerial conference office of the school bus safety management issued a notice to remind localities to buy from the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement†when they purchased new school buses for primary school students and young children, so as to avoid the failure to handle the cards due to the purchase of unqualified school buses. Such issues as ensuring the safety of school buses from the source.
The notice pointed out that in order to ensure the quality and safety of school buses, since 2007, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has incorporated school bus production enterprises and products into the "Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Bulletin" for management. As of October 16 this year, 441 school bus products have been issued in 35 batches and a total of 52 manufacturing enterprises.
It is reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to publish the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement†through the website. Schools and kindergartens around the country are invited to pay close attention to the changes in school bus production enterprises and product information, and to ensure that school buses that meet the national school bus standards are selected.
