The locomotive can find its dynamic fault without leaving home. So it is vividly called the locomotive "treadmill."

The test bench is mainly used for the traction power test and electric braking power test after the harmonic electric locomotive overhaul. It is composed of four parts of foundation pit device, electrical equipment area, noise reduction and ventilation device and central operation room. It adopts the leading domestic Electric power closed technology, locomotives and test benches form a mutual exchange network on the primary side of the catenary, which can feed back the energy consumption generated by the test back to the grid through feedback, greatly reducing the energy consumption of the test, using lifting rims and track control Electronic control wheelbase adjustment technology, can quickly complete the upper and lower test bench locomotive for HXD1B, HXD2, HXD2B, HXD3 and other 7 different wheelbase models test wheelbase rapid adjustment. The test bench to complete two times a day locomotive trial work, to meet the section with an annual output of 466 locomotives overhaul trial needs.
