The slag micropowder project has small investment, small land occupation, significant benefits, short payback period, and is in line with national energy and environmental protection policies. It is a government-encouraged development project.

With the continuous development of slag grinding technology, the slag is ground to the corresponding fineness and the energy consumption is getting lower and lower, which lays a good foundation for the large-scale application of slag powder. The production process mainly includes vertical grinding, roller press, ball mill , vibrating mill, four final grinding processes, or vertical grinding + ball mill, roller press + ball mill combined grinding process, in which vertical mill produces slag powder It is the most common and rapid development, and the fineness of grinding is easily controlled at 400m2/kg or more, achieving the most economical fineness standard and fully utilizing its activity.

The slag micropowder can also be combined with steel slag to produce composite powder, improve the life of the civil structure, and produce high-performance concrete with a certain proportion of other materials such as silica fume, thereby further improving the utilization rate of the slag powder.

Since the production process of slag powder is relatively simple and the required investment is relatively small, the asset size of the slag powder production enterprise is generally relatively small. At the same time, due to the wide application and good performance of the downstream products of slag micropowder, the development space of slag micropowder products is better. Therefore, the development of slag micropowder production enterprises is fast. In recent years, there have been many domestic slag micropowder production enterprises of various scales.

The economic and social benefits brought about by the gradual promotion of slag micropowder production are very obvious, but it is necessary to further strengthen scientific and technological innovation and equipment reform, and thoroughly study the comprehensive utilization of slag micropowder to increase the added value of its products. All in all, slag powder is a building material that has great use value and potential advantages, and has a broad market prospect.

Also the melt pump can avoid the damage to the extruder from the high pressure.
