Recently, the newly developed transmissions—9JSS220, 8JS85T, 6J70T, and 6J80T—by Shaanxi Fast Group have successfully passed provincial appraisal in Xi'an. These products represent a major achievement in the company's independent research and development efforts, marking a significant step forward in the domestic heavy-duty transmission industry.
The appraisal was conducted by a committee of 12 experts from leading institutions such as the China Automotive Engineering Society, Chang'an University, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and other key industry organizations. The panel reviewed detailed development reports, product inspection records, and user feedback, while also conducting on-site inspections of production facilities and actual products. They examined design drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance with national and industry standards.
After thorough evaluation, the committee unanimously recognized the outstanding performance of the four transmission series. They praised the advanced design, rational structure, and reliable operation of the products. The transmissions offer smooth shifting, precise gear positioning, multiple operational modes, and efficient power extraction. Their stable performance, low noise levels, and high transmission efficiency make them highly competitive in the market.
The technical documents were found to be complete, accurate, and consistent with relevant regulations, ensuring they can guide mass production effectively. The main performance indicators meet the requirements of Q/S61005-2006 and Q/S61003-2006 standards, with some specifications even exceeding the older QC/T29063-92 automotive industry standards.
The appraisal committee concluded that the 9JSS220 and 8JS85T series have reached international advanced levels, while the 6J70T and 6J80T series are at the forefront of domestic technology. All four series have now been approved for mass production following successful styling appraisal.
