India may apply for anti-dumping investigation on China's export of ibuprofen

Recently, the China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products issued an early warning that an Indian company filed an anti-dumping investigation against China’s ibuprofen exported to India. Although India’s enterprises filed an application for filing, India has not formally initiated the case. Therefore, the chamber of commerce currently only informs the ibuprofen pharmaceutical raw materials manufacturing enterprises in Hubei and Shandong, once the case is filed, it will organize the company to respond actively. China is a major exporter of bulk drugs, and ibuprofen, paracetamol, and aspirin are antipyretic and analgesic drugs. Because of its low price, reliable efficacy and long-term prospects for the market, exports have been increasing in recent years.
