To calcine the roasting plant output as raw material, acid leachable Cu, Zn, Pb leachable salt, gold cyanide leaching zinc dust, mud gold complex to obtain gold concentrate smelter plant design. The process flow of a factory in China is shown in the figure. When leaching with dilute sulfuric acid, zinc and copper in the calcine enter the solution as sulfate, and lead and gold and silver as well as a large amount of gangue remain in the leach residue. The bottom of the thickener is filtered and washed, and then sent to the cyanide leaching process. The gold-containing solution obtained by cyanidation of the noble liquid produced by cyanide leaching is sent to the zinc powder replacement process. The cyanide residue is sent to the slag yard after being slurried.

Usually, the gold mud is replaced from the noble liquid by the zinc powder replacement method, that is, the noble liquid is first filtered, the suspended matter is removed, vacuum deoxidation is performed in the deoxidation tower, and then the zinc powder is substituted for the gold and silver. Zinc powder is added to the inlet of the noble pump, mixed in the pump and the reaction is started, and the entire replacement operation is completed in the press filter. The gold mud obtained by pressure filtration is sent to the gold and silver purification workshop. The lean liquid after the sinking gold is the solution left after the gold in the noble liquid is replaced, and part of it is returned for cyanide pulping, and the other part is recovered or destroyed by treatment. The cyanide is discharged after it meets the requirements (see the design of the cyanide-containing sewage treatment plant in the gold and silver smelting plant), and also plays a role in eliminating the harmful impurities accumulated in the solution. If the raw material contains high lead, it is necessary to increase the lead-free work before cyanidation.

The schematic diagram of the roasting leaching process, that is, the slag after decoppering is immersed in lead with saturated brine in a heated state, subjected to solid-liquid separation and washing operation, leaching slag is sent to cyanide leaching, and the salt leaching solution is deleaded by silver. After that, the salt solution is evaporated to near saturation and returned to the salt leaching process. Equipment selection for acid leaching and copper removal generally uses mechanical agitation tanks, and the parts in the tank that are in contact with the slurry should have anti-corrosion and wear-resisting measures. Solid-liquid separation and washing equipment should use thickeners and horizontal belt vacuum filters, and anti-corrosion should be considered. Cyanide leaching is a common double-impeller high-efficiency agitation tank. The solid-liquid separation and washing equipment of the slurry after leaching also uses a thickener and a horizontal belt vacuum filter, but does not require corrosion protection. The brine in the de-leading process is concentrated by evaporation, and the vertical tube evaporator is used. The equipment is seriously corroded, and a high-grade corrosion-resistant alloy is used.

The zinc powder replacement device is made of ordinary carbon steel. The deoxidation equipment uses a vacuum deoxidation tower. The gold mud filtration generally adopts a plate and frame filter press, and the surface of the filter cloth must adopt measures for preventing microfiltration of the fine gold mud. The workshop configuration roasting leaching workshop is generally designed as a two-story building, with various storage tanks, pumps, vacuum pumps, air compressors, and more on the ground. The top of various mechanical stirring tanks, filters, filter presses, replacement devices, etc., are often arranged upstairs. In order to simplify the material transportation, the design must use the height difference to make the liquid flow. Cyanide leaching Due to the long reaction time, there are many cyanide tanks required, and the stepwise configuration is usually adopted. The slurry is displaced into the next tank by the previous tank. Due to its high body, the multi-effect evaporator can be designed as a four-story building according to the needs of operation and maintenance points. The cyanide tank, thickener and most of the liquid storage tanks can be designed as open air or with simple plant layout depending on the regional climate.
