Chongqing Institute of Technology's new epoxy-based wear-resistant coatings are recognized by the market

A hydraulic mechanical wear-resistant epoxy-based coating developed by the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering of Chongqing Institute of Technology has been successfully used by users.
The oxy-resin-based coating consists of three parts: a self-made modified epoxy tree finger, a curing agent, a high-hardness high-hardness wear-resistant ceramic sub-aggregate of different particle sizes, and some additives to form a surface coating, which is composed of bisphenol A type. The epoxy resin, the curing agent and the laminar rust-proof filler constitute an intermediate coating, and an organic zinc-rich undercoat layer.
The product is currently mainly used on the surface of workpieces operating under slurry erosion and wear conditions, such as mud pumps, concentrator components and turbine blades, etc., which are often subject to abrasive sanding.
