Harvey firefighters responded to a second-alarm house fire at 192 E. 157th Street yesterday afternoon on January 22, 2015. The scene was intense, with heavy flames visible from the second floor even as crews worked to contain the blaze. Josh Boyajian and Tim Olk were on the scene and captured powerful images of the incident.
Josh shared his experience: "We arrived from Merrionette Park, which took some time. When we got there, Harvey’s crew was already working on the first floor, but the fire was still very active on the second level. The structure made it difficult for firefighters to make progress, but they managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the house to the east. Here are some of my shots."

These images offer a real-time look at the chaos and dedication involved in responding to such emergencies. It's a reminder of the risks firefighters face every day and the importance of their work in protecting lives and property.
