Type and basic structure of 耙 type thickener

The sputum concentrators can be divided into two types according to their structure, namely the central transmission type and the peripheral transmission type concentrator.
1. Center drive concentrator The center drive concentrator is divided into small (2 to 18 meters in diameter) and large (18 to 45 meters in diameter). The small picture is shown below.

Its structure is mainly composed of a concentration tank, a truss, a transmission mechanism, a feeding device and a discharging device. The concentrating tank is a circular tank with a conical funnel-shaped bottom constructed of steel or reinforced concrete. A conical discharge opening is opened at the center of the bottom of the pool, and an annular overflow groove is arranged around the upper portion of the pool. A truss mechanism is suspended on the rotary shaft in the center of the pool. A rake-based metal truss, many blade fixed below the truss, and the pool was concentrated radius angle. The two pairs of jaw arms are perpendicular to each other in a cross shape. The rotary shaft is fixed on the worm wheel, and the worm wheel is driven by the motor to drive the worm. When the worm wheel rotates, the rotary shaft is rotated, and the rotary shaft drives the entire truss mechanism to rotate in the pool, and the scraper scrapes the concentrated product to the center discharge drum of the pool. The pressure exerted by the squeegee on the sediment during the scraping process contributes to the extrusion of moisture therein and increases the concentration of the ore. The slurry to be concentrated is fed into the central receiving cylinder of the tank along the feeding trough on the truss. The lower edge of the cylinder is submerged under the clear liquid surface. The slurry flows radially to the periphery and produces sedimentation. The clear liquid is from the upper part. The annular overflow tank overflows. The scorpion of the concentrator rotates very slowly. Generally, the finer the material is treated, the slower the rotation speed should be, so as to avoid interference with the precipitation.
In order to avoid the overload of the concentrator causing fouling of the discharge port and truss twisting and other equipment accidents, a truss lifting device and an overload signal mechanism are provided. [next]
2. Peripheral transmission concentrator The peripheral transmission type is mostly a large concentrator with a diameter of up to 100 meters. The structure of the large concentrator is shown below.

The difference between the structure and the central transmission type is the transmission mechanism and the truss mechanism. One end of its truss is supported on a reinforced concrete column in the center of the pool. The motor fixed to the drive trolley is driven by the reducer to roll on the rail. For smaller peripheral drive concentrators, roll them on the rails. For the smaller peripheral drive concentrator, the movement of the drive trolley along the track is achieved by the friction between the wheel and the track. Therefore, no special safety device is needed. When the scorpion encounters a certain limit of resistance, the wheel will automatically slip, and the car stops moving forward and sends a signal. For the large peripheral drive concentrator, in order to increase the traction force, the small wheel is prevented from slipping on the rail. An annular ball parallel to the rail is added to the outer edge of the annular rail, and a gear is added to the shaft of the small wheel, and the gear meshes with the rack to drive the trolley forward. In this type of transmission, a motor overload protection device is usually employed.
In order to supply power to the motor, annular contacts are mounted on the central post, and the collector contacts that slide along the ring are connected to the truss and current is drawn from the contacts to the motor by cables laid on the truss.
The main advantages of the concentrator are simple structure, convenient operation, less power consumption, and high technical and economic indicators. The disadvantage is that it has a large footprint and is not suitable for concentrating coarse materials larger than 0.3 mm.
In order to save the factory floor space, in recent years, multi-layer concentration and sloping plate concentrators have been developed. The multi-layer concentrator is a stack of two or more concentrating tanks, generally two or three layers, and has a diameter of 9 to 15 meters. The inclined plate concentrator is provided with a plurality of inclined plates in the upper circumferential direction of the concentration tank, so that the effective sedimentation area is increased, the settling time of the materials is shortened, and the concentration efficiency is improved. Production practice shows that the inclined plate concentrator is an efficient dewatering device .

Sizing Machine is not a necessary part for Paper Making Machine, it is used to increase the paper surface strength. Size applicant amount can be decided as per customers' requirements.  Sizing machine can be divided into two types: inclined type and horizontal type. Both adopts pneumatic pressurization. Sizing can stop liquid permeation to certain extent, then better physical property can be achieved.
