Sumitomo Rubber intends to start production of flying tires from the Buffalo plant starting in 2018. The products are mainly large-size SUV tires.

At the same time, Sumitomo Rubber said it plans to invest about 10 billion yuan to upgrade the equipment at the Buffalo plant.

By the end of 2019, the plant can produce 10,000 tires per day.

It is understood that on January 30, 2016, this factory produced the first "Flying" brand tires in the United States.
