Excerpts from woodtv.com:

Hundreds of police officers and firefighters from across the Midwest gathered in Kalamazoo to pay their respects at the funeral of Comstock Township Fire Chief Ed Switalski, who was tragically killed last week after being struck by a vehicle during an emergency call.

The ceremony was filled with honor and emotion, featuring a full military honors package including a duty medal, bell ceremony, playing of "Taps," flag folding, a 21-gun salute, and his final call as a firefighter. Everyone who spoke about Chief Switalski highlighted his selfless nature and deep care for others.

"He always put others first. He was there for my Auntie Holly during her cancer battle, and even donated his kidney to his nephew Christopher when he needed it," said his niece.

Switalski leaves behind a wife and two daughters, one of whom shared heartfelt words at the funeral. "I am honored to be the last family member to have seen and spoken to him," said Emily Switalski. "Before every call, we would say, 'I love you, be safe.' Those were the last words I ever said to him."

Before the final call, hundreds of firefighters from Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois — where Switalski spent over 30 years before becoming chief in Comstock Township in 2013 — joined the procession. A restored 1937 fire truck carried his body through downtown Kalamazoo and Comstock Township, followed by nearly 200 fire engines. The public lined the streets to show their gratitude.

The procession continued past Comstock’s three fire stations. At the River Street station, Battle Creek firefighters stood in uniform, covering the station so local crews could attend the funeral. Though they had never met Switalski, they came on their day off to honor him.

"It's a great honor to cover this station for these firefighters and their chief," said BCFD Lt. Lamar Mingle.

Gov. Rick Snyder ordered all U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered to half-staff in memory of Switalski.

Thanks Dan

Gravel And Sand Screen Machine

YK Series circular Vibrating Screen, also called vibrator screener machine, or vibratory screenig machine, can be used to separate minerals into various sizes for further processing in crusher. It incorporates a vibrator, eccentric block, mesh, spring, triangular belt and motor and is used for discharging bulky goods, sand, gravel, coal and coke from hopper to crusher. We can design and supply all ranges of vibrating screens according to the capacity and requirement.

The circular vibrating screen causes the motion trajectory to approximate a circle, so it is simply referred to as a circular vibrating screen. The circular vibrating screen is a multi-layer, high-efficiency new vibrating screen. The circular vibrating screen adopts the simplified eccentric shaft exciter and the eccentric block to adjust the amplitude. The material sieve has a long line and many screening specifications. It is widely used in product classification of mining, building materials, transportation, energy, chemical and other industries.
