The Elk Grove Village Fire Department has recently acquired a new Pierce Velocity 100′ rear-mount tower ladder from Pierce. This is the first unit of its kind to include a pump and water tank in many years, marking a significant upgrade for the department's aerial capabilities.
Here are some of the previous aerial apparatus that served the community over the years:

In addition to the new tower ladder, Elk Grove Village Fire Department is also planning to acquire a small squad unit to be stationed at Station 7 alongside the new apparatus. This new team will function as a jump company, specifically tasked with handling EMS responses more efficiently. The move reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to modernizing its fleet and improving emergency response capabilities across the community.
