The difference between vortex flowmeter and orifice flowmeter

1. The orifice flowmeter consists of a throttle device and a differential pressure transmitter, and the conduit requires heating measures for the frozen installation. Usually, the orifice flowmeter is used to measure the flow. :

· It is easy to freeze, easy to block, easy to leak, and heat is easy to cause aging of differential pressure transmitter device. In some cases, the pressure guiding tube needs to be added with isolation liquid. Due to heat or process instability, positive and negative pressure guiding tube isolation liquid The liquid lines are often unequal, resulting in a liquid column difference, making the flow indication inaccurate;

· The above will change the flow measurement result, and there will be an error. If the pressure guiding tube is shortened and installed directly on the pipeline, there will still be a flow dead zone.

2. Due to the small static sealing point of the vortex flowmeter, there will be no leakage or media flow dead zone phenomenon during the flow measurement process, and the heat tracing measures of the pipeline are not required, which are not affected by the pressure, temperature and viscosity of the medium.
