Below are some photos taken by Eric Haak showing Chicago Fire Department companies working to mop up after a fire at Tower Ladder 54 in Chicago’s 16th Battalion on Thursday afternoon. The building, which measured 250 x 150 feet and was vacant, had intense fire conditions in the loading dock area that led to a roof collapse. Fortunately, the crews managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the structure.
