The Australian Federal Government's Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has partnered with Plenti to provide funding aimed at helping more households transition to solar energy. Starting from 5 June 2024, discounted Green Loans will be available through this program. The loan terms have been extended to 15 years, making repayments more manageable for homeowners. Additionally, you can receive up to a 3.34% annual interest rate discount* on Plenti’s standard green loan when purchasing eligible solar energy equipment.
You may qualify for a discounted HEUF Green Loan if your solar energy system was installed by Solargain. Eligible equipment includes:
- Solar battery
- Solar PV system and battery
- Solar hot water system
- Hot water heat pump
- Electric Vehicle (EV) charger
To be eligible for the HEUF Discounted Green Loan with Plenti, you must meet the following criteria:
- The solar installer must be a NETCC accredited installer, such as Solargain
- The homeowner must own (or be purchasing) a home with a value not exceeding $2.5 million
- The homeowner must be over 18 years old and an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- You must have a valid driver’s license, Medicare card, or Australian passport
- A clear line of credit is required
- You must be employed for more than 25 hours per week, a self-funded retiree, or receiving a government pension
