China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. revealed recently that the national engine remanufacturing demonstration base is expected to be approved by the Development and Reform Commission recently. On September 10, 7 academicians including Guanqiao from the Chinese Academy of Engineering came to the company to conduct a field trip. According to reports, China National Heavy Duty Trucks has listed remanufacturing as a key part of corporate development and has become the first and only company in the country involved in remanufacturing. At present, Jinan Fuqiang Power Company, which is owned by CNHTC, has already formed a scale of 15,000 engines annually. In April this year, the National Key Laboratory of Equipment Remanufacturing Technology has established a research and teaching base here. The purpose of this visit by the academicians is to establish a national demonstration base for engine remanufacturing at CNHTC, so that remanufacturing will be industrialized in China. So many academicians of the National Academy of Engineering visited a company and it is rare in our province. Remanufacturing is a new discipline. By adopting high-tech technology to form the industrialization of the repair and maintenance of used mechanical and electrical products, and prolonging the product life, its energy-saving and energy-saving targets are very prominent.
