1. Metal tube float flowmeter is a precision equipment, so in the process of transportation, installation, storage, and use, it must be handled with care, to prevent barbaric transportation, over-stress installation, and random placement. It is important to ensure that the relative position of the indicator and the sensor cannot be changed. Once the relative position changes, it will directly affect the measurement accuracy of the meter.
2. Metal tube float flowmeters usually do not require maintenance. However, in the long-term use process, the pipeline will inevitably have ferromagnetic substances adsorbed on the float. If there are too many impurities, the float will be stuck or affect the measurement accuracy, so the sensor of the flowmeter should be cleaned. If a magnetic filter is installed at the inlet of the flowmeter, the magnetic filter should also be cleaned periodically. The flow meter or filter must be removed from the pipe during cleaning.
3. For the electric remote transmission and the flow meter with the alarm limit switch, open the instrument cover before use, and follow the instructions for proper wiring. For the screw of the alarm type loosening limit switch, the user sets the limit alarm position as needed, and tightens the screw to restore it.
4. When using for gas measurement, ensure that the pipe pressure is not less than 5 times the instrument pressure loss to ensure stable float operation. Generally, the instrument for measuring gas is equipped with a gas damper to minimize the fluctuation of the float. To further ensure the stability of the float, a throttle or suitable orifice plate can be installed at the outlet of the flow meter.
5. When the metal tube float flowmeter is used, the valve should be opened and closed slowly to avoid damage to the instrument. If the flowmeter is turned on, because there is no pressure in the pipeline or the system has not reached the working pressure of the normal use of the instrument, the control valve must be slowly opened until the system is normal, the instrument can be used, otherwise it will easily cause the pointer to jump or the sudden impact of the float to be damaged. phenomenon.
6. When the user uses, if the density of the measured fluid is different from the water, or the parameters and working state of the measured gas are different from the manufacturer's specifications, the reading of the flowmeter value shall be converted.
